I just finished Running With Argentine. It was a truly excellent book. I read your notes on your web page regarding your goals in writing SF. I can safely say you achieved them in this book. You also managed to avoid the pitfalls of space opera you described. I would like to put in a request for more Argentine and his motley crew. Typically, when there are several books in a series I find my self flinching because I assume I Will have to do some literary wading. This is certainly not the case in this book. I enjoyed your characters development, and a smooth crisp lot.

      ecj,

I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate your comments.

I really enjoyed writing Running with Argentine and feel like it might be my best effort yet, but it is always gratifying to know that someone else enjoyed it (authors live for that feedback 🙂

What many people don’t realize is that continuing a storyline into additional books is not always up to the author – the positive ratings on Amazon and the sales must justify it. ‘Big names’ might have a little more leeway here, but for relatively new authors like myself it is critical.

So far, those numbers look good enough that I have already started on another Argentine book: Seeing Double with Argentine. I have (I think) some great ideas for it and am having fun putting together the initial outlines and setting the beginning scenes…

Thank you again for your support,

      WLG
